Note: all the academic sources I could find state that the Motä Musē exists only in a Beta Israel recension, however, the text is to be found in two (seemingly) Christian mss. in the VHMML database. I speculate that these might have been copied from a Beta Israel source at some point. I do not know how and whether this text differs from the Beta Israel text.
