Previous Book: Nehemiah (EOTC canon)

Called "1 Ezra" in earlier Ge'ez sources, and "4 Ezra" in academic sources. Together with appended material, this text makes up most of the Vulgate's "4 Esdras/4 Ezra," and some English bibles' "2 Esdras."
This text was likely first composed in Hebrew, and translated first to Greek, but the earliest surviving sources are in Ge'ez, Latin, and Syriac.
